I like a certain amount of harshness in the car.

As a cruiser it is very smooth in the power delivery especially around the burbs, lots more "useable" torque which makes it very enjoyable to drive. If how ever you want brutal then it shovels that at you when you drop the hammer... happy to let you have a run so you see what I mean

Gee I'm afraid to pick up my R next month lol will have to call the dealer to ensure the DSG has the latest software and not to check the fron wheel alignment Maybe i should hold onto my 69 beetle as my primary car

Check the rear alignment too!!

1. Migrate
2. Import
3. Cry like a princess

Third option is the easiest

1. Migrate - thats the problem with the US , it is full of Americans
2. Import - by the time I paid the duty and then converted it to right hand drive OMG
3. Cry like a princess - Sitting here with my tissues and tiara as we speak

They do get a lower-specced R, remember. No LED tails, no R[CD|NS]-510, some other interior feature deletions... I wonder what else.
