Yep, left rear hangs in the air as I go in the driveway. The servo is actually on a fairly busy road in Willoughby and is opposite a Porsche dealership. I can't imagine how they'd go getting a GT2/3 in the driveway.

LOL - currently watching an old episode of TGUK - the one where JC drives the R35 (the one they call the new Datsun 120Y) and surprise, surprise, JC says that it is boring as bat **** to drive. He gets that it is a technological tour de force but he says that is has "no soul" and ugly. Spend $150-180K on an ugly car that is "meh" to drive - not smart.

No wonder you think the MKVI GTI is an improvement over the MKV.

Actually I recall he had to drive faster and harder. So fast until he threw his back out.

    But that's technology for you.

Not the episode just shown. Besides, if you have to drive faster and harder means that you either have to drive over the speed limit or take it to the track. Any car driven at those speeds would be fun to drive on the track, even the MkVI GTI. But noone can drive the car like that on a daily basis - well not without escaping the coppers for long or killing themselves or someone else.

Yes, the MkVI GTI is technically better (more refined - smoother) but it has lost it's soul. I rather drive a car that has soul.

    Just for another Observation

I put 2 litres of window cleaning fluid in a few weeks ago after the light came on telling me it was low.. this was fine for about only 2 weeks and the light comes on again and I had barely used it. Seems it takes 6 litres of washing fluid because of the light washers..

I think the brace would be a possible cure and the silicone spray would only mask the issue. I guess each problem can be overcome in multiple ways. I'm ok with spending the $$$ on a brace.
