Nah Bruce was pretty good on that front, he just didn't seem to have much room to play with on the shipping front. The size of the items makes it a bit difficult.

So maybe we should start a thread in the tuning forum or something.... or would it go in suspension? lol, I'll figure that out some time.

But specifically to the MK6. Is there any parts required for this install?
I remember seeing posts somewhere which said that you either need to cut away some heatshielding, or you might need to use longer bolts, or something, and that those bolts don't come with...

I still find it hard to believe how soft and wobly the Golf platform is
I won't be tracking alot but maybe come to a track day here and there for some fun and meet up with you guys. And yeh I'm surprised how much twist the chassis has.

I don't think it has that much twist. I get a wheel hanging in the air every time I fill up at one particular servo.

As in not touching the ground? Is that servo built on a cliff?

I am surprised Rob_R, I get little to no creaks.. I would suggest your issue lies elsewhere

Our current MKV GTI creaks on unlevel ground and It definitely is movement in the chassis but interestingly the R we test drove on similar ground did not

I am sure the issue doesnt lie elswhere, dont want to get him worried. I may be making the chassis sound worse than what they realy are but as far as I am concerned if you can hear the slightest creek noise from a car when entering a drive way then that is enough to be considered sloppy.
So I dont think the issue lies elswhere it is just the nature of our platform. The brace should sort it out enough.

That's cos the MkV is a REAL driver's car and not the soft poser that the VI is

As I said I don't experience it.. I would just be suggesting that he may have alignment issues or he could use some of these silicon sprays.. I would be investigating those before spending big on something that although is strengthening is just masking the issue
