For $1,200 you can by the TurboXS DP then get a local exhaust shop to do a cat back for you which should be less than $800 even in stainless. You've still spent $2k but you're supporting local businesses. I've actually had comments from other drivers (including a 911 Turbo) that my current set up with the stock cat back sounds good so you could save some money or spend it on other goodies.
FR&R may be cheaper on the exhaust but I'd check their shipping costs. They charged me 25 pounds to ship an RS4 fuel pressure relief valve which weighs all of 50 grams. The package that arrived had a charge of 7 pounds from Royal Mail so they have a bit of a mark up. The FPRV still only cost AU$85 landed compared to US$115 at ECS. Their prices are also exclusive of VAT so if you plan to pick it up from them and get it shipped yourself you'll have to add 20% VAT.
