I drink energy drinks and i use the door storage for holding the cans.. works for me

The drivers door will hold a boxed bottle of glenfiddich...just. Bah to you latte drinkers!

Ok.... am I missing a bit? This is what I have in my slidey-lid thing behind the DSG lever.
It looks like there's suppose to be a bottle opener in there. This is probably why I couldn't figure it out this morning.

Yep the bottle opener which sits in the middle to make it a 2 cup holder, or fits in the recess below.
I have 2 of them so guessing someone else missed out at my dealer lol

Yep your dealer has ripped you off.. ring them up and ask them for the VW bottle opener.. or check your service folder to see if it is in there

either that, or it's sitting in the glove box along with the unread owners manual

(or maybe even the storage cubby to the right of the steering wheel)

LOL... should I.....should I call A Current Affair? Does someone have a 6 month old baby I can borrow?

I just read in the other thread that it's included with the owners manual (which I admit I haven't even looked at yet). I also just got a courtesy call from the dealer asking how everything is - and I mentioned this, and he said he forgot to mention it - but it should be included with the pouch I got with all the manual and stuff - but if it's not in there to let him know. I'll take a look when I get home.

So if I RTFM'ed, I would have probably found it (if it's there). But you know how it is... who reads manuals
