And as said before, either PM, or call Jmac, 0423 965 341. He's done both my diesel iLoad (with unbelievable results!) and diesel Forester.

Dare I say it is now slightly better than my old MPS6 and according to a few others on a recent MPS Cruise, better than their modified MPS3's.

Thanks for all the positive comments, muchly appreciated.

All the golf R needs is a boot (not a hatchback) but that's pure personal taste LOL, nothing to do with performance.
Good to hear about the bluefin results!

As per your last comment, there's an Audi A3 sedan on the horizon, if they bring this out in the S3 spec then it would be a Golf R with a boot!

Bluefin-ned my Golf R last night. Much happier with the car now. It really pulls through the gears now and revs out without what felt like resistance before. Turbo spool is louder (obvious as its running more boost) and a definite increase in power and torque.

The car actually feels like its a turbo now rather than just feeling like a larger capacity naturally aspirated engine. Having owned 2x 200sx's over the past 8 years or so that were both lightly modified up to around 170rwkw - i was a bit underwhelmed with the Golf GTI and Golf R in standard trim.

Much happier with the car now.

Can someone elaborate on the SPS/Tuning software of the bluefin device? What exactly does it let you change? Yeah I know go ask in the performance section but given a few people here are buying them, I figure they've done the reasearch - I'm curious.

AFAIK the bluefin unit lets you download a modified file from the bluefin website which you then upload to your car. It also lets you download your stock file and save it on the unit so that you can load it back in future if needed. You can't create a custom file yourself. I think there are a couple of other tuners that have handsets available but they are an extra cost option. It does make it easier for people who are remote and can't get to somewhere that can do the tune.

Yes - the Bluefin can be installed and subsequently removed via the handcontroller device whenever you want / need. It takes about 15-20 minutes to apply or remove the tune.

Hey mate, from who did you score the Bluefin from. I've emailed Gccorp but got no response from them. Have you done any more mods(exhaust, intake, intercooler),if so,can your tune accommodate them?
