I've done 11,500km and still push it to get 400km from a tank. I do enjoy using the throttle though. It just depends what sort of driving you're doing. Anything in peak hour in Sydney will kill it. Can't really use Prodigy as an example as he's in WA.

Just over 3,500km on my R DSG now. I have spent some $$$$ on it:
- Opti-coat
- Focal speakers all round, 8"sub, Alpine 4 channel and mono amps placed discreetly next to the spare wheel
- APR stage 1
The opti-coat verdict will tell with time
The sound is now excellent
The stage 1 ECU upgrade is by far the best thing I have done, not because it is now faster, but because it now drives in D like it should have. The "flakyness" is gone and it changes where it should.
Loving the car and my only real bitch is the climate control - runs way too cold!
Think I've only see that sorta figure when driving on the freeway for 2 hours hehe
I've done about 7800km's now and average around 350-400km's but my fills are usually around 50L so the comparisons are hard without knowing at what point others fill up. The MFD ongoing average says 12.8L/100 which is an improvement on the 13-14's it was showing for the first few months hehe.
My problem is I just can't let go of the paddles (and finally had the aftermarket ones fitted yesterday) which doesn't really allow for great consumption figures. The car is too much fun to just putt around in.
