    Well,,,, Surprise,,,,Surprise,,,, Surprise!!!!!

    My Non MDI car plays music through the cable.

    Am I going gaga? or does this mean I have scored MDI?
    Songs show up on screen also.

    Wow, I wonder how often VW add something not ordered?
    and NO, I didnt order it, or pay for it, have gone back and checked Invoice.
    Anyone else scored free MDI?

    I initially thought they were including it free with MY11.5, but you'd think they would be shouting it from the mountain if that was the case.

    Any way, I am happy as my original order which I cancelled had it ticked.
    Happy days.

    Will have to go get IPhone cable now.

    Bastard! It wasn't until after I'd ordered my R that I found out how cheap you could buy the RNS510 on EBay for a self install...sure as hell would have been better than paying VW $2500 for one!

    Wow! I didn't order MDI and sure cant see any cables dangling in the centre arm rest console....

    Where is this cable attached to?

    When I ordered my GTI they gave me a free AWD system. I couldn't work out why I wasn't getting wheelspin until I found my Haldex underneath!

    Any R owners know how to turn on the little lamp below the Xenons?

    On the GTI, the parking lights activate them but on the R the LEDs light up instead.

    Also, having them in white looks pretty darn cool:
