Can anyone in the Sydney area advise on a good rim repairer? My front, right 19" Talladega has a slight buckle from a pothole. I called up the local dealership about a possible replacement and they're looking for around $1,500 for a single rim!!!!!!!!! To make things worse the side-wall of the rubber has a little split! I'm quite concerned about driving it now......

    Air Filter, where is it?

A bit of a noob question but where is the air filter box on the R. Opened up the bonnet today and found quite a bit of sand in the engine bay after driving through a bad sandstorm the other day.
I thought i'd check out the air filter/box to see how that coped but have no idea where it is, i'm guessing its under the big plastic engine cover somewhere..

Nah pretty easy mate, just a firm yank and the biach comes off.
3 or 4 rubber grommets attached via brackets to the engine hold it on.
BTW, dead pedal covers (L&R) for the R will have in stock next week....will send you pics as soon as they land.

I found that taking it off isn't too hard but getting it back on is the difficult part! 4 grommets.

But yeah... that's basically the summary.
The PCV problem (same as the early DVs) has been fixed with later revisions of the PCV. Small issue. When you bring in the car for a PCV or DV issue, dealers have been told to replace both at the same time.
