I can highly recommend Recaro's to anyone who is thinking about pulling the trigger.
True but golf R's arent that populous on the streets and there arent a large proportion of recaro optioned cars.
and theres no doubt that any wrecker will rape your behind if u buy from them lol.

I can highly recommend NOT going with the Recaro's to anyone who is thinking about pulling the trigger. They kill my back.
In other words - test for yourself, because everyone is different. The last thing you want to do is spend $60k on a car which puts you in tears every time you drive it because the seat is not suited to you. So test for yourself
Quick one, where is a good place (most likely overseas) that you can buy parts aestheitc and otherwise from?
Wanna get in while our dollar is still good
2010 MY11 GOLF R - 5DR | DSG | RISING BLUE | DYNAUDIO + ACC + BLUETOOTH + 19s + RNS510 |
2017 MY17 TIGUAN HIGHLINE - 5DR | DSG | PEARL BLACK | SUNROOF + DAP |
It's nothing to do with how hard they are. It's just the shape and adjustability of them is all.
There's a reason that in higher end cars you have a choice of 3 different seats which are all the same price. It's because no seat is "best" for everyone. Which leads me to this... lol, exactly!
Check for links in the ruined, and therefore closed, Accessories thread
anyone actually have recaro seats in their Golf R sitting at home??
Or actually does anyone know any dealers in Sydney with Recaros in their demos?
| Golf R MY11 | DSG | 3 Doors | RB | Recaro | 19" Talladegas | ACC | Sunroof | BT | APR S1 | APR Carbonio | MillteK Sport CBE |
Yeah the seats are heated.
The recaros don't tilt+slide forward which makes it harder to get into the back if you have a 3 door Golf.
For me this is a non-issue but I do agree that the recaros don't suit everyone. The best bet is to find a demo with recaros and come to your own conclusion. For me this wasn't an option otherwise I would still be waiting upon delivery.
