It's greener than an R32, isn't it?
I agree about the performance model having more performance info on it though.
Hehe - I was comparing the 2.0l engine and the 3.2V6
I love my 118TSI since no matter how hard I try, I can't get my average fuel consumption above 7.6l/100km (atm it's at 7.2). And yet I can still reach any speed limit in 3rd gear with 4 more to spare (wrong thread, I know)![]()
Ouch, it is that high on the highway ?
Our GTI gets under 7 on the highway
I knew the R would use more but thought it would be close to the GTI
Oh well, not too concerned.
8VSS2L/16 E9E9 XG MP SPP1 4ZD 6XK CSC5P with an extra free 10kW
My R is showing an average of 9.9l having done just over 10,000kms.
Highway driving can get down to high 7 or low 8 but it is lots of stops/starts and hills that adds to the fuel consumption. Not that I care, the stop/start at the traffic lights is the best bit.
Certainly didn't buy the car for fuel economy but i've been pleasantly surprised by how good it is. Maybe I need to thrash it a bit more...if only there wasn't a gazillion speed cameras around.
