^ im hearing you. I had to park in a very busy/full shopping centre on the weekend, and its a challenge manouvering around the tight up/down ramps and in/out of tight parking spaces with the reduced steering lock.
OBSERVATION: the factory optioned 19" steering rack turning circle sucks. I want my full lock back. Wah. /cry.

It's embarrassing reverse parking and misjudging every time! Like I'm driving a Cadillac or something...

Observation 1: after I turn the car off a small hum can be heard from the front of the car. It usually lasts a few minutes. Is it something to do with oil continuing to be pumped through the turbo to aid cooling? It sounds like an electric motor.
Observation 2: the analogue oil temperature gauge does not coincide with the temperature displayed on the MFD, at least for the first few minutes after you start the car from cold. I've noticed the analogue gauge climbs quite quickly to normal operating temperature (about 90 degrees), however the MFD indicated oil temp is only 55-60 degrees. To be safe I wait until the MFD oil temp matches the analogue display before giving the car full beans
