This is the first Golf I've had with a roof and it isn't extreme but it's noticeable.

Shame the Golf Cabriolet R didn't make production. Although I suspect that would have more buffeting noises.

Lowering a back window 1/3rd is a common fix iirc.

Yes. It's common.

It's common with most hatchbacks with a sunroof.

My S3 used to do it.

Drop a window slightly.

Or, don't have the sun roof in the "certain positions"?
You either want it open or not? I'll never understand why a sunroof has 4000 positions. Surely you want either closed or open!
Or maybe I don't understand sunroof etiquette.

Hi All

Has anyone had any issues with wind buffeting from the sunroof when the roof is in certain open positions (mainly in near full open position ) - I'm not sure if it's just me or if it's common to all golf sunroofs. This is the first Golf I've had with a roof and it isn't extreme but it's noticeable.

I'd be keen to know if I should have it looked at.

Those withe the Vienna leather option on the Golf R is the centre console meant to also be covered in leather or microfibre?
