mine does it too.. and it's standard.
Maybe PCV blowby?

This! All the Japanese cars run super-rich under WOT, but it's less common in the Euros, and rarer still when tuned. Still, short of being a bit down on peak power, there's nothing wrong with running a bit rich. The excess fuel lowers the combustion temps inside the cylinders.

My tune is running a slight bit richer than is optimal for peak performance.
But I don't mind that. I'm sometimes in area where I can't guarantee good fuel and would prefer to be a few kw down on power for that sake than anything else.
Most tuned R's and indeed stock ones do give a little belch of smoke.

My observation is after being away from the car for a month, and giving it a good bootfull in this cool air, the boost it produces forces off the boost gauge cable from the 42DD tap..... oops! So I popped it back on, and it popped back off again next WOT. Turns out the hose has a ring of oil on it, which has softened it up compared to when I first fitted it, and the oil has somehow accumulated after a month of not driving it. So catch can is definitely going to go in soon (and a cable tie seems to be doing the trick on the hose).
