I'd have the fully optioned GTI too, just add Stage 1 or maybe a bit more and I'd be sweet. I've seen quite a few R's on the roads and none of them drive with any vim; they might as well be in a 90TSI.

Obviously I haven't come across Fab_R in my travels yet

Do they self level and align as there was a bit of play in the bolts but I've got it close to where it was.

Given that they don't have the adjuster as in the MKV non xenons, I woul assume that they are self leveling.

AFAIK it's a requirement of ADRs that cars fitted with xenon headlights must be self levelling. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

No, your observation about Rs is quite correct, we don't stoop to exposing the full capability to lesser cars, what's the point..

Knew they did the start up leveling process but wasn't sure how good it was (I couldn't get them back to the exact same fitting location so assumed the leveling function would sort it)

Not sure why you would need to remove the headlights to fit your new floor carpets, but then I'm not a mechanic*

LOL, something finally funny to laugh about, instead of the obvious trolling
I am guessing Candyman put some ricer blue LEDs into his headlight housing where the small extra light is that isn't hooked up to anything.
