These braces do they fit any mrk6 as im not a fan of ceaks or rattles in cars...
I think the previous group buy fell through due to the GST kicking in when buying in bulk (hence bringing total of shipment above $1k).
Bruce said to just buy individually thru the website....correct me if I'm wrong.

You can still do a group buy and then have things shipped individually. Like we did with the S2TPP DSG paddles.
However, some companies are just not interested in doing discounts... and if that's the case, then yeah, you can't do a group buy.

There are two ways to do a group buy. You can have 1 person pay the entire thing, and receive the order, and then ship out to people once in Australia. The discount needs to be fairly good for this to be beneficial, due to the GST and import duties etc.
The other way is to have people pay individually and have it shipped individually. This works better when the discount being offered is not as great (say only ~15% etc). It's still beneficially for both parties. The buyer, cause they get a discount. The seller, because the "group buy" thread and the discount garners them a rush of purchasers. Just look at the S2TPP group buy. I think we ended up selling like 50 paddles for them or something.
Anyway... it doesn't hurt someone to propose it to him.
The brace behind the seat will add further torsional rigidity but would not realy be necessary unless you are tracking the car an awful lot. Would only be a consideration also if you had semi slicks and very stiff coilovers otherwise I couldn't see how the loss of practicality would be worth it.
I still find it hard to believe how soft and wobly the Golf platform is![]()
Aah, fair enough then. As I said, some people just don't wanna give discounts. It's their business, so they're entitled to decline![]()
