Sounds like you will first have to get the secret menu activated via VCDS.

Thanks for the update! Your last comment sums up my R experiences to a tee! I've covered almost 11,000kms and loving every moment

Try sport mode on some nice twisties, then you'll appreciate it more! Though I do find I enter comfort mode more often than not on most daily commutes.

Great to hear you're loving it mate.

Just did a run over the blue mountains to Orange

Took it down the Ophir Road, over the Causeway and back to Orange via lewis ponds rd. Handles the rough dirt with ease. Loved the flowing country roads out there. Have to work out a way of turning off the speed on the Tom Tom as I got in trouble from my gf a couple of times...

6,500kms and I'm not yet up to 3 months. I'm a happy man.

Yeah it is really growing on me, the more you drive it the more you appreciate what it has to offer. It isn't perfect, I admit the divide between the brutal power delivery of Sports mode compared to that of the sometimes unpredictable Drive mode could be bridged.

I don't quite like the visability of the paintwork around the doors internally, this just has a feel of incompleteness about it, potentially used to the frameless windows on the Liberty. I find the doors a little heavy though it could be the mechanism by which they open.

The Dash could be a little more driver oriented, it sits vey flat, this could have its advantages for those wanting to watch stuff on the RNS screen but it really is there for the driver.

the front spoiler is low, this is great to look at but they should have had protective covering along the bottom, I think I have removed half the paint on the first day .

Anyway that is my bitch list and it is more around some of the design and useability than any fault to speak of.

My Golf R Observation is that the badge on the grill is way to big. I disliked this, so I wrapped it in black.

A few guys have done that, including Prodigy. From memory, he bought a replacement badge and then spray painted it. The benefit of that is though, it's shiney, and matches the grill nicely:

Anyways.... my observation would be that your numberplate is way big and doesn't match the holder... you should do something about that

My observation is that despite your stupid number plate antics, you both have great taste in colour
