Hey yeah I think the prices are right. Its off Coreying's price calc. Cause once you clear $57K there is 33% LCT.
Ive ordered the DSG, Dynaudio, DCC, Bluetooth, 19's, Sat Nav, RVC, MDI.. I think thats it..

2010 MY11 GOLF R - 5DR | DSG | RISING BLUE | DYNAUDIO + ACC + BLUETOOTH + 19s + RNS510 |
2017 MY17 TIGUAN HIGHLINE - 5DR | DSG | PEARL BLACK | SUNROOF + DAP |
Not sre what the exact system is, but there were a combination of R, GTI, LHD,RHD 3dr, 5 dr all lined up one after the other.
The Tour was good, well worth it, would be nice to live in Europe and be one of the 100 or so people that pick up their new cars from the factory each day and drive them home.
Also did their Tiguan Off road course for a laugh. Seems to be fairly capable thing for what they had lined up for it anyway.
currrently... MY10 GTI | DSG | Candy White | Sunroof | 18's | BT | MDI
previously... MY08 GT TDI | DSG | Reflex Silver | Sunroof
Week 37 is the next "build week" that Australia Golf R customers are going to have their cars built. Mine is apparently due for week 38. Yours would have to be a few weeks after to be a Decemeber/January arrival.
Yeah - I get what you're saying, but I was talking base prices - there is $12k difference (well, $11,500 to be exact). I'm well aware that you can option many cars to the hilt (since I created the spreadsheet and all), but if all you want is a raw street racer, you don't need all the options, and therefore there is an $11,500 difference. If you don't want a raw road racer, why are you even considering the Focus RS, and then the point becomes moot![]()
ccoops79 I ordered a Golf R 3 door in Candy white
DSG
ACC
RVC
MDI
Talladega 19's in black
Sunroof
bluetooth and leather
And I'm here to tell you that that pricing calculator is about 5-6 grand out, out on road for me low $60's No trade in taken into account and I did get a corporate discount however that still doesn't make up for the discrepancy
I created the pricing calculator. Its purpose is to calculate the RRP of the car, not your drive away price after negotiations. (Although it will tell you what % discount your negotiated price means based on RRP).
For example, you purchased a 3 Door R with DSG in QLD.
Without options the VW Australia site says the car is: $56,282.90 (since it doesn't account for options).
The calculator spreadsheet says the same car is: $56,283.01 - only 11c difference.
It's quite possible that both the VW Australia site and the spreadsheet is out by a few hundred now due to possible fee changes now that it's a new financial year... but it definitely should not be 5-6 grand out.
But if you can please PM me the details of how you calculate that it's not accurate, and I'll look into it and correct it for you.
Was that a wet finger in the air week 38 or have you seen an update in NADCON? Last check on mine still had no further info.
It's accurate in VIC at least, well depending on which dealer you talk to LOL. One matched up with the calc give or take $20 and another was a good $1000 more. Might be sneaky tactics or the diff in their DD charges, who knows.
