Hey Lucas,
I personally think a Haldex controller is a must, its not until you drive a stock car again that you realise how front based even the gen 4 chassis is. Camber is certainly up there on the want list, thats for sure., but everyone needs are different, ours works great on the track, is not too stiff for the road, we get a bit of tyre wear, but happy to have that trade off!
I have had a couple of pro drivers drive the car & (predictably) both preferred different setups! I'm a bit of a hack on the track, so I like a predictable, safe chassis - they prefer it a bit more "on the edge" :)
We ran our own version of the anti lift kit - there are some pics in this gallery as fitted to our GTI:
APR - High Performance Development for Audi, VW and Porsche Vehicles.
But on the R, we took it back to stock specs
Picked up an Ipad2 (16gig,3G) yesterday, and yes the $890.00 should have gone into my Stage 2+ bucket...
Went into the Apps store and downloaded Real Racing 2HD. Of course there are GTI's for sale 24K, but for another 10k, low and behold you can buy and race 2010 R's!!!! You can't afford the R's right off the bat so I had to be satisfied with the GTI, Black.
Hey Will, you been far too quiet lately.. either having fun with your toy.. or so disappointed you cant bring yourself to discuss
The brake calipers on the R are already black... what colour are you going for?
You still owe me piccies.. but glad you are having fun.. 2 months to go for me yet
