When I start the car up at night the lights adjust up & down then left & right. So they can move left & right.

I changed a few setting in the MFD display but the headlights still dont move.

    Any ideas?
Try parking your car facing a wall so you can see the headlights shining against the wall.. Then turn the wheel left and right and see if the headlights move... if they do, then they'll move when you turn corners...

MasterSTI, the lights should move when cornering. Mine do! Check Bend light setting on the MFD. I think they'll only move when going over a certain speed so no point checking them in the garage

    Hey guys

So for those who have NOT ordered the factory bluetooth...and who has the RNS unit, question :

On the old MK5's (for those that know), you could MUTE the song playing on the RNS/RCD by pressing a button on the steering wheel. The button was in the shape of a STAR.

Now, the STAR button is no longer on the wheel, but rather on the RNS/RCD LED versions (next to the eject button on the top right of the unit). This button (along with the long horizontal button on the left side of the steering wheel in the shapre of a microphone) is to activate the voice control for various different things on the RNS unit. i.e there are 2 buttons you can press to activate the voice control in the car; one on the RNS and one on the steering wheel.

The button that says "PHONE" on the RNS unit mutes the song currently playing on the RNS unit, but I was wondering, is there any way of getting the song to mute via the steering wheel controls? (i was thinking perhaps the button with the phone handset icon, in between the < and > buttons)?

I dont have bluetooth in my R as I don't need one but I would like to have the option of muting via the steering wheel? Its not a big thing but it makes my life that much more comfortable?

Anyone know whether this can be programmed via VAGCOM or something?

Never tried the R but in my dads XC60 the lights only bend above a certain speed.

Correct, I believe it only works over 30km or something. At a standstill it won't steer the lights...

I decided to shell out and buy one of these "Sprint Boosters". Ordered Sunday out of Hong Kong, received it yesterday, and installed the sucker today......!

For those of you who were skeptical, don't be.
They do make a substantial difference to that natural fly by wire accelerator pedal lag on the R....

It changes significantly the pedal travel and response if that makes sense!

It has 3 modes... Stock, Moderate and Aggressive. Simply put, it eliminates the delay at the depression of the pedal.

What was the cost and shipping cost?
How is it installed and how long did it take you?

In your opinion, based on the total cost (and installation difficulty/time if relevant) is the product good value?

Like I've said, only the front LEDs turn on when I do that. I know it turns on for the GTI as the LEDs aren't present. Any R owners know the answer?

The microphone button on the wheel works as the mute. Then again I have Bluetooth.

I have a STAR button and two others next to my Sunroof dial. In Europe that's some emergency button. When I press it it calls some weird number that doesn't work. Hopefully VW Aus will implement that button to call the VW assist.
