Thinking of lowering my R.
Received a quote today from Pedders using Eibach 25mm lowered springs - $1100 fitted.
Has any one even with a GTI lowered with ACC option?
I think 25mm lower would give it an improved look as well as improved handling...

Not sure I'd go to pedders regardless but seriously you must just be bored! It looks bloody great and it handles fine hehe
Edit:
If anyone doesn't want to wait to buy the mag, someone put up a 66mb PDF link on the UK rforum. Won't post here cos I'm sure its breaking the rules...

Great pics Fab. Awesome looking car!
If I were you I wouldn't change a thing, the ride quality will be compromised as well as practicality around speed humps and driveways... Maybe we should open an Opinion Poll

Factory DCC is better than pedders (LOL) or fulcum or any of those cheap shops. There are a few threads on Golfmk6 where someone has introduced lowered springs with DCC, i think a 1" drop is fine but wouldn't mess with it.
DCC is very comfy in my car.
Edit: Still looks Sick FAB.

I would leave it as is mate, unless you are going to buy a complete kit which includes the shock absorbers as well which are matched to the springs. You will just screw up what engineers spent hours to perfect.
If you go lower the shocks will just be destroyed a lot quicker also.
