Correct, but if you have VCDS you can turn that feature on (also does the side windows).
IIRC, somewhere in this forum states that if you lock your car with the sunroof open, it won't auto shut when it rains - in other words the rain sensors are only for the wipers. Is this right?

Just FYI the Audi S3's sunroof could be closed [as could the windows] with the key fob.
However, for some inexplicable reason, from the "Facelift"[late 08] only the windows close-not the sunroof.
Nobody has been able to get to the bottom of this as to why.[I don't care-mine's pre-facelift]
Just hope the Golf R's not the same.....
I notice golf r only has one touch power window for driver... Disappointing... Most cars have all 4 one touch now... At least have passenger front window one touch too to coordinate with driver's...
So it does, however, I don't believe it's correct. As has been noted, even the Polo has 4 window "one touch" up and down, so it'd seem crazy that it's being removed on higher models. I'll question that and see what comes back (but don't hold your breath, it usually takes a while to get a response from VAG).
Could it be a 3 door v 5 door thing?
At least more expensive versions of the Golf aren't as bad as some Porsche's, Ferrari's and Lamborghini's, for example (the light track day versions)
On that note, I recall Dean talking about the weight of the Golf R's wheels. Switching to a lighter wheel added 24 BHP and reduced lap times of wherever they were testing by an average 1 sec per lap.

Nope, not the way it's worded.
But re-reading the way it's worded again I think it's just a misunderstanding:
So it's not saying that only the driver's window has one-touch up-down. It's saying that only the driver's controls for the (2 or 4) windows have one touch up-down. Meaning that the individual control at the front passenger door, and rear passenger doors, don't have one-touch.Power front / rear (5 Door), with roll-back function, driver with one-touch up-down
The statement in the specs is the same on all MK6 brochures that I have saved. So I don't think that there is any change here or mistake here (but I don't have a MK6 in my garage yet, so someone else will have to confirm).
i had my mate in the car on Saturday, and he commented on the one touch feature on the passenger side...
