Golf R Observations and Questions

My only gripe with Mix/Shuffle mode is that when you turn the car off and then back on (after some time passes), it forgets what songs you've already heard.

My main grip with the Mix mode is that when you decide you want to select a song to play, that isn't random, you have to reactivate the mix setting again.
Wish there was a way to have it on mix all the time.

That's why Ryan_R has the "blank" MP3 that he mentioned.
It's a common gripe with "Mix/Shuffle" functions - not only on car stereos, but computer software and home stereos too.

Hey Fab, I forgot to ask what class/transfer speed is your SDHC? I'm just wondering if it's worth it to pay through my nose for the Sandisk ULTRA Class 10 30mb/s one?

The SDHC works well DDTW and is pretty quick, no lag.

Ok the rear view camera is it supposed to make one god aweful noise when extending out? this sounds like it's about to break eacht ime I go into reverse, still works though

I also got sat nav maps v3 with my car, I believe this is the latest version but the date on it is 2009, do they only get updated every few years with the VWs?

Question about Xenon headlights.

My drive to work involves tunnels and underground carparks. In each direction the auto headlights turn on and off 7 times. That's 70 times a week plus any weekend driving. Will this reduce the life of the globes? Should I just turn auto off? Are the globes expensive to replace if they do blow?
