    Help deciding please

As I have no Idea which we to go. I flipped a coin and still cant get anywhere.

    OK,

    3DR or 5DR?

    Carbon Steel or Black??

Originally I had decided 3DR with Carbon Steel.. But after walking past the show room today, I found out it can be changed for about 2 more days.

Black I reckon is sexy as. I saw the CS at the dealer today outside.. definitely looked hawt as the sun was going down into night time (after my final test drive).

Ive signed up, the only thing I would do is add the $1500 If I want the 5DR..

    Any ideas?

Your choice, do you want 3 or 5 doors? Do you carry people in the back? Do you carry anything? Kids? Practicality or looks?

    Carbon Steel or Black??
Male or Female? It's a personal choice and there's no shortage of photos to compare (for both).

    Any ideas?
Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.

I guess I was really set on the CS with 3DR.. but from the photos I have seen with aftermarket rims.. The carbon steel doesnt look nearly as good as the white and black cars I have seen around.
In particular, I think it was the VMR rims? They look amazing on this black GTI I saw, but apparently its photoshopped!!!

I guess I dont need to carry anything.. but as a 28 y.o, maybe kids in 3 years.. but who knows.. Im more concerned with what looks better at the moment. And in some angles the 5DR actually looks better, does more justice to the proportions. I just like the 3DR side on.

Hmmm.. White looks amazing.. my favourite GTi's I have seen to date... No questions.. (or 3 If I can get it working)

    Obviously some photos are stock.

That white car with the multispoke 19's, rear quarter shot.. my favourite

Firstly, some of those photos are not real, they're photoshopped (not just post processing)

Next up, maybe the people taking the Carbon Steel pictures are just lacking in photography and lighting skills (and the photoshop post processing skills). Everyone says that CS looks much better in real life.

But lastly... as Maverick said.... what does it matter what anyone here thinks? I mean, if you did car, you wouldn't be buying one in the first place, as a Golf is a girls car right?!

I would tell you that 5 doors are a waste of money. No one NEEDS more than 3 doors.
Next I would tell you. White, Grey (CS) and Black are not colours, so get it in Red - the only colour available.
But then - what does it matter what I think when you are purchasing your car ?

I'd say a Candy White 5 Door is as close to a pure GTI as you can get but then I'm biased having one myself.

Black is a PITA to look after, Carbon Steel could be a lot easier, Candy White is easy as well although it does show dirt up more at times. Black is hottest in the sun, white is the coolest.

With the 3 door every time you let people in and out of the back they'll kick the crap out of your trim and you'll have to adjust the drivers seat. You have to reach back for the seatbelt whereas it's right next to you on the 5 door. In a side impact the 5 door has better protection for the driver. And the list goes on, really comes down to personal preference but after having owned a 3 door in the past I wouldn't do it again as they're a PITA when you want to use the rear seats.

It's very hard to be objective with this and only you can decide. After living with a 3 door car for five years I am definitely looking forward to a 5 door for the practicality. IMHO I think a 5 door would be easier to sell. As far as colour goes I only ever considered tornado red because I love red cars and bikes. To me white is for delivery vans. Black cars do look good in the show room but after 20 minutes on the road they look dirty. They also show up the imperfections and scratches more than any other car. You could buy silver or grey and be super boring. So as I said, only you can decide for youself because my opinion doesn't really matter...just ask my missus.

No need to do that in a Golf Mav. Unlike all the crappy Japanese 3dr cars, the Golf seats go straight back to their original position
