I saw this driving along botany rd so i followed it and took a video. Dealer i was with said it will be released next month. But with no corporate discount.

Were those rims 18" or 19"? They look like 18".

Nice spot.

The 18" do tend to look a bit small once you've seen it with the 19", but i probably woudln't get 19" (without ACC).

I like that white GTI in the video =D

They are 18"
You can tell because of the fact that the headlight holders are silver.

have to say in 'looks' GTI looks better (looking at to of them next to each other)
nice red lines, red breaks etc

but I really like the rims !

Get a GTI and new model RS6 replica wheels.

Nice find Parky. Looks are subjective but I think the Golf R is a little too subdued. The GTI stands out more to me. I guess to some people that's part of the appeal.
The wheels look like the 18s to me. For some reason they don't seem to look as big as the 18s on the GTI, perhaps it's the spoke or the fuller face of the Detroits. Nothing a set of VMRs or BBS' couldn't fix.

I approve of the white GTI you test drove.
