Off boost they are pretty good but the factory tune at high boost drops AFR's into the high 9's or mid 10's. A simple tune fixes that, bringing it up to a more respectable 11~11.5:1 . A bad tune that I commonly see done by one of the well known companies actually makes the matters worse as they forget to modify the fuel table to take into account the higher airflow&load. Its just sits in the 10's at the hint of boost. The 2.5L subaru motors are very weak compared to the older AGU 1.8' and TFSI's.
