Liam on Ausmotive has posted up the following pricing:

    Electric glass sunroof - $1,900
    RNS510 satellite navigation system - $2,500
    Dynaudio 300W premium audio system - $1,300
    RNS510 with Dynaudio 300W premium audio - $3,500
Media Device Interface (MDI) - $270
Rear View Camera (RVC) - $500
    Adaptive chassis control - $1,500
Vienna leather appointed upholstery - $3,300
Micro fibre/leather racing style front seats - $5,300
Electrically adjustable driver‘s seat (with leather seats only) - $600
    Talladega 19“ alloy wheels in SILVER (4) - $1,300
    Talladega 19“ alloy wheels in BLACK (4) - $1,300

No confirmation on car pricing though, he has reiterated that the R will only be a 5 door.

It looks as though coreying was spot on!

He did leave something that has left me wanting to know more though...
    coreying was spot on.
"I cannot see why Volkswagen would deny that opportunity, unless…

…the Scirocco is on the radar as an officially imported vehicle!"

Now the Scirocco is something I would LOVE to come to Australia and would buy without a 2nd thought.

    Yes, that's the only way.

If enough people hold this line, they'll bring the 3 door.

And that's why you get singled out , because I already posted that exact list at 11:53pm last night in this very thread.

No matter though, there has been a few pages since then so having it repeated is cool

    It's ridiculous over here.

(Yes I know its because of the significantly larger market in the US and our taxes)
And what taxes would that be?

I meant our import / sales taxes.

And yes, you make a good point. Our healthcare is one example of a significant benefit we enjoy in Australia.
