true....clarity now cheers guys
ill report here tomorrow night with my findings...
By the way, 8.7% with no corporate discount is still pretty good.
well in my calculations its over $60000.00 so coreying is spot on....thanks again gents im off to buy a car tomorrow..
OK I got one quote so far
118 TSI DSG
+ paint (500rrp)
+ sports package cloth (2000rrp)
+ park assist (1400rrp)
+ everything else (onroads/gst/etc)
Total ~38,000
Isn't that _really_ expensive??
Dze.
So the 118TSI is $31,990 to start with.
The "everything else" includes:
Dealer Delivery - Typically $2495 in WA (according the VW Australia's price guide anyway)
Stamp duty is $1,571.95 as per here
Rego + CTP is $492.52 (If I've calculated that right from here and here
Plates are $17.90 for standard or $410 for Euro.
So when you add that up, the drive away price is $40,467.38 with standard plates or $40,859.48 with Euro plates.
Meaning you're getting a 6.10% or 7.0% discount.
Nothing wrong with that?!
