my recent insurance story:
i use bingle (1 accident 8 years ago - other party at fault... i don't plan on making a claim. other than theft) who are CHEAP. 1st year was $980 for GT Sport TSi insured for $33,000
notice to renew came asking for $1000+ and agreed value of $28,500
went to bingle.com.au and did a separate quote - $930 w agreed value of $32,500 --> WTF!??
bought new policy - which took over from expired last one at midnight.
don't just check around each year - check with your OWN insurer!!!
