So true about 3drs. Has a limited market and hard to move. Lets face it, with the 30% depreciation in the Euro alone in the past few months (and probably a lot more to come), they could have sold it at $35k and still made a tidy profit! So if dealers think they are crying foul, SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!!

It probably not worthwhile commiting to a car just yet, purely because I'm not sure on the lenght of time it will take to move the XR5.

The longer it takes to sell the old car, the older the "new" car gets for the same price.

Maybe I am expecting too much for the price I am willing to offer.

Thanks, I had previously been in to Moorabin and spoken with a colleague of yours. He came nowhere near $47500, so I did some shopping around and ended up ordering from Bw Glen Waverley.

I love mine. First time I have had leather. Was worried about them being too hot in summer, but I bought a internal windcreen shield and use this and the aftermarket window tint to keep the sun off the seats and all is good. Much easier to clean/keep clean. Looks classy. Also they are heated which my passengers seem to like in winter.

    Thanks Klink,.

I am deciding between sunroof and leather.

At the moment looking at Detroits + Candy white. Cant decide on what else I really need.

Not a fan. Wife has had several cars with leather (Captiva, Calais, Outback & a couple of others) & it didn't impress. It really is a personal prefernce thing.

OTOH, my cloth seat look like absolute rubbish because the velcro on my company uniform has fuzzled-up the material.

If I ever get the seats retrimmed i would get something similar to the Mondeo Titanium the wife had last year. Alcantra middle sections with leather bolsters.

There are many threads dedicated to this very question, such as:

Suggest you have a good read through that thread, and post your leather vs cloth questions there.
