    I agree 100% with what Dave just said but the Tartan gives the car a bit more of a "unique character" and as many have said, is "a bit more grippy" when cornering. I had leather in my Mk5 GTI but went to cloth in the 6 because I like the smart look of the Tartan. IMHO, I think the leather looks "classy" but I felt that the interior needs a bit of "jazzing up" because "all total dark grey" looks a bit bland.

    In fear of starting a war, the leather is also a bit cold in winter when you first get in (until the heater kicks in) and can get a bit sticky in summer. In summary, that Tartan is very unique but you are the one that has to live with it.
