Look if a new car isnt that important to you and this sounds like a decent proposition then you wont be dissapointed. Take it for a run and if there is a space issue which there wont be because if I remember there is more headroom in the mk6.

Pretty good price and specs , same height and I have zero problems .

Nice low mileage should be still tight and very nice to drive with those km's per week .

Hey all,
I was involved in an accident with my daily driving car couple days ago, where it seems to be a write off.
I was T-boned by someone who ran through a stop sign, so was completely blindsided and my front driver side wheel/frontbumper is all moulded to one haha

But all is safe and well, so onto my new task.
I was hoping to see if anybody has recently bought a brand new or demo MKVI GTI/GTD from a dealership in october/november of 2013 in Sydney?
and any assistance on pricing you were able to achieve. I know it may be hard with the MKVI's being phased out (I bought my golf R new in March and they were already running the IVs out then) so not sure if many are still hanging around at dealerships at the moment.

I have been given a quote by barloworld for a demo UG grey DSG GTI with detroits, leather and reverse camera for $38990 drive away and seems pretty good as is.

any one who can help with anything else it would be greatly appreciated thanks!

my one had done 900km so almost new

but as of today I have found a dealer willing to do a
5 door DSG BRAND NEW + leather + reverse sensor (installed at dealership) + 18' detroits for $40k drive away

Sensor or camera? Sensors not factory fitted might look a bit cr*ppy if they don't drill the bumper right and colour match properly.

You might be better posting in the mk7 forum biased around here but it seems a decent price to me.

This is for a MK6? How come you won't spend a little more for a MK7? I'm sure you could pick up something similar for not too much more?
