    Nice VW Aus marketing lady to AUSmotive, "The GTI 35 edition will be in Australia later this year. We do not have a confirmed date as yet."

    Apparently carsales has previously suggested September as an arrival date.

    Didn't VW claim 0-100 in 7.2 man /6.9 DSG for the MkV but 6.9 man & DSG for the MkVI? It doesn't make sense to me that the manual could improve but not the DSG.

    Certainly looks the goods. R motor w/ R bits (tails).

    It'll be a shame to have the lag + fwd though.

    At least in my regular StageII GTI it's only the FWD I have to battle with.

    There should be minimal lag with a Stg 1 tune and probably none with Stg II.
