I think all the Adidas should have the LED DRLs so that makes them MY11. The VIN numbers on carsales appear to be bogus though. When I plug them into the decoder, it always says year of manufacture as the 1980s.
I meant while the adidas is MY11 but built in 2010 and as such, is ageing stock at the dealers. So should have some discount applied to it now.
2011 Mk6 GTI | CW | DSG | Bi-Xenon | GIAC | APR TBE | THS FMIC | Modshack
I picked mine up on the weekend for $44990 drive away in Tornado Red. I'm not usually a fan of red cars but this converted me. I just think it suited the interior nicely with the red stitching throughout the car.
To the haters. Go into your dealer and try and get a standard MY11 GTI with DSG, Bi-Xenons, LED DRL's, MDI, BT, 18" wheels (and lets not forget Adidas leather trimmed seats!) for under $52k drive away. Nah, didn't think so. YOU MAD BRO?
Apologies, not the best pics (camera phone) and she has tints now!

Yeah, I certainly think that the Adidas represents AWESOME value! And hey... if you're not a fan of the "Adidas" badge on the B Pillars, a hair-dryer, fishing line, and a bit of plastic polish takes care of that in about 10 minutes. If you don't like the Adidas stripes on the seats, then get them reupholstered (just the "centres") with some alcantara or microfibre or even leather if the upholster thinks they can match it near enough with the rest of the leather. That'd take no more than a day and cost you far less than the price gap between an Adidas and an equally specced GTI.
