What about all the dealer listed cars on car sales that have 1st row seating heated as a feature?

It is annoying as this was one of the features that I believed justified the higher price of the adidas.

Yes, the website has been updated today since my post at 8:39am...

If you guys ever wondered if VW are watching these forums... then there is your answer

FYI, the "Flyer" I downloaded this morning was 2173KB and the one I downloaded two minutes ago is 6630KB! The info is the same (except for the removal of heated seats), the PDF has just been compressed differently.
The "Specs" link isn't working for me yet though...

Edit: And returning to the official VW.com.au website then going through the "registering my interest" for the Adidas again now shows that the button to download the specifications has been removed - again, this has only happened this morning as a result of this thread....

Now that we know that they are listening....

    1. Please bring in the Scirrocco.
    2. Please stop limiting stocks of the Golf R, Polo GTI. Allocate more cars to this region.
    3. Stop overcharging for options.

Damn. The link to the flyer works, but as Corey said, the other is done and dusted.

Even worse, I have to wait till Monday to get my Gti. Here's hoping everything goes well - dealer had people away sick so it may make things problematical. Also have to get the lease company to finalise things, which they've said will happen Monday mornings.

    Thanks Corey_R, man....

Eucalyptus Oil is good for removing most forms of glue residue. Put some on a soft cotton cloth (or old tshirt) or even microfibre cloth, and then hold that against the residue for a minute or so, then gently agitate the residue off.

As Vaku mentioned, he then used some Turtle Wax scratch remover to get rid of the ghosting/light scratches left behind. I've never used that product before - but use common sense as to which product you should purchase and use depending on what surface you're debadging from! E.g. don't use a paint cut/polish on the gloss plastic trim as you'll just leave a dull tarnished finish.
I'll be making the purchase real for a white one tomorrow, ( my 60th birthday) and hopefully debadging by next weekend.

To those who wonder who the marketing demographic might be for GTI Adidas, maybe a sizeable section is older Boomers entering 2nd childhood ????

Those links do not work anymore.. what a rort! I think the people without should either get 3 years free servicing. Or an extended warranty.

Someone I know ordered a BMW with heated seats.. and after the wait it didnt come with the seats. They were offered a cheesy spoiler, which they rejected, and just got a monetary amount back.

BUT it aint the same. Its another reason they bought the car. And without it it was a BMW without a fancy option.. which is the reason you buy a BMW in the first place!

its not the AUS brochure, but thought this would be cool to have.. it was only $7 or so from Germany (ebay) so im happy with that

from looking at the pictures apart from a 2 door it was also offered as a CSG option in germany

also none of the pictures show the MY 11..5 DRL upgrade, same as the one I seen at last years motorshow (wonder if they sold that at a massive discount also considering a few thousand people sat in/touched and probably scratched it)

I printed out the Aus version b4 they deleted it. Can possibly scan it if people want a copy. I'm gonna bring this up at my first service that the heated seats aren't there.
