sucks that only about 1/10 GTI adidas's came with a sunroof...i wasnt lucky enough to get the white one with sunroof >.<

I de-badged mine this evening, its not that that I didnt like the logo's or anything but I didnt like that they were not flush and stuck out a little, I prefer the clean look so im happy with the results, and at the end of the day its just double sided tape so they can always go back on.

some ghosting left on the plastic, but not too bad

apart from the fact that my car now smells like freaking eucalyptus oil lol..

update - bought some turtle wax scratch remover - seemed to do the trick of removing the subtle scratch/ghosting left from removing badges.

If anyone is after a GTI Adidas, then Kloster VW in Newcastle has a red one in stock (saw it yesterday). It's a DSG but I didn't look for any other options.

Ask for Terry Knight if you call up, he was my salesman has been great to deal with while my R is on order
