So you spend thousands and thousands of dollars on a car but $195 for an original boot liner is stretching the wallet? i don't get it.

FWIW, I use an old picnic rug in the back. Can do double-duty when you get somewhere and need a rug...

i do the same... have a fold-up picnit mat that i deploy when necessary.

no need to baby the car - it's mine after all! i'm not going to go all ocd about preserving the boot for the next owner.
