    Golf 6 sports pack

Hi, has anyone got a mk6 with the sports pack? I think it comes with 17" wheels, sports seats, sports suspension and window tint.
Does the suspension mess up the ride or is it still super smooth?

Cool. Which wheels do u get with it? I didn't know about the brakes either. I'm guessing that the motors is unchanged?

    Golf 6 sports pack

Motor is the same as a normal comfortline Golf. Front rotors are 312mm same as GTI and standard sport pack wheels are 17" Seattle.

We did not buy the sports pack with our MkVI as we did not like the more jiggly ride (the additional unsprung weight from the larger brakes probably contribute along with the stiffer, lower suspension). Plus I don't like the more expensive tyre replacement cost.
We loved the seats but couldn't justify getting them alone as they are almost as much as the whole sports pack.

It depends where you are coming from. Our previous cars were a Peugeot 306 and a Ford Focus which pretty much had the best chassis (so ride/handling compromise) of their generations in this class of car. I don't think the MkVI chassis is quite in their league which is why we did get ACC (which is no longer available on non-sports models )

    Golf 6 sports pack

Thanks for the advise. the smooth ride is what attracts me to the golf in the first place.

Getting Coilovers will defiintely ruin that smoothness.

Definitely a harsher ride, but the seats are honestly fantastic.

Went from 15" to 17" wheels on my Golf. Firmed up the ride where it is just a bit too hard now. I find myself swerving around manhole covers etc whereas before the golf really wasnt too fussed.
If you live where the roads are smooth then it doesnt matter but i live just off Toorak Rd and the roads around here are total ****e.

I have the comfortline sports pack and I love it The ride is a bit stiffer, but it sticks to the road really nicely... When I bought it I was told it had the suspension from the gti, so it would have the same ride... The sportspack also has some upgraded electrics, like dippy left hand mirror on reverse, fog lights with cornering function, low tyre pressure indicator... the sports seats are great. I'm not a large guy, and the sport seats hold me in the seat well.

I'm in Brisbane, with lots of pot holes and poor quality roads and it seems to handle them well, although for sure a slightly higher ride would be smoother.
Just sold my Mk6 Golf Comfortline Sport... Waiting for my 2015 Lapiz Blue Golf R with sunroof, DAP2 and leather to arrive
