    Fuse box diagram

Has anyone got a diagram of the fuse layout for a GTI? For some reason its not in the manual which is highly annoying!

    Cheers

In engine bay or inside the car or all?

The one under the bonnet, does it look like this?

If it's the interior fuse box, the story I was given is that they only fit the fuses for what's in the car as it leaves the line, so a diagram would lead to confusion (probably a copout for being too lazy to indicate fixed and optional circuits.)

Was after the one for inside the car, want to hook up the boost gauge lighting to the headlights fuse (I assume it would have one fuse for the sidelights and low beam?), if there is one?

For that, you could take the power from the headlight switch.

Taking a splice off that wouldn't cause any faults/error codes?

No it doesn't. Have had mine running that way for about four years. I actually used the dimmable power so the gauge matched the rest of the instrument cluster.

I checked the wiring diagram and it's safe to tap in.

Sorry for the resurrection but does anyone know which wires on the back of the headlight switch I should splice from for the boost gauge?
