    Full sized spare

Has anyone fitted one of the 17" sports kit type wheels in the boot?
Reason being, I want to do a interstate trip over christmas (assuming most mechanics are closed) Really don't want to be bogged down with driving @ 80kph on a slim spare.

Hey Ian. You may want to link directly to your post rather than a page. You haven't even posted on the page you linked (at least with the number of posts per page on my system).

    Thanks AdamD.

@Ian - you must have your page preferences set differently. This is why you should link to the post, not the page. To link to a post, click right on the #number on the top right of the post, above the user details, and select "copy link". Cheers.

The end result is, people can find your posts instead of not being able to....

    Thanks Ian,

great to see that the middle fastening bolt still fits which was my main concern. Probably won't goto the length that you have making a new floor as I don't do 100km + trips that often.

    Thanks again.

It must get a lot of people into trouble when going on holidays with the car packed to the rafters and out on the open road , when one get a flat tyre and discovers that the original wheel is a lot higher and [80mil] and can't repack the boot to fit all their luggage in.
Space saver tyres are ok around the suburbs but once your out on the open road your at the mercy of your own fate.
