    Hi all

I am new to this forum and I have a white DSG Golf R on order (due Nov - like everyone else)

Question, when the APR Stage 1 is fitted, does it give the exhaust note more punch? (as well as the obvious benefits..)

    Thanks in advance

Yes and no. I mean, the exhaust and all the mechanicals are the same. But it has more power and gets on boost quicker... You get more exhaust note change when going to Stage II (with the intake and downpipe and a further update to the ECU).

As adzy said, no it will stay the same, you just get more power. If you want the exhaust note to change, change either the down pipe or the exhaust.
