So a fault will have registered. Get to the dealer as soon as possible so the car can be scanned to ensure it's safe to drive without doing any damage.

will have logged a fault...go to a dealer if in warranty...if not get a VCDS scan for fault codes...might be manifold flap motor if you cant tell a power difference...VDUB..

^^agree here , best to have the ecu scanned rather than guessing. If in warranty you will be sorted. There is so many variables that can trigger the light, a read is the only way. Shouldn't be too much of an issue if there is no difference in drive.

    Hi guys

Problem fixed! There was a loose clamp*from my intake into the turbo that was causing the light to come on! On another note spoke to three vw service centres and nobody was even remotely interested in seeing me..even after told them I had engine light on told me it would be a week before they could see me..even after I said u just need to tell me the error code
Another note will from mike Webber is a legend...he was happy enough for me to pop down and he scanned and fixed it with in 10 minutes..if only vw offered this kind of service
