haven't got any issues in mine but it's 6sp DSG...
As described thats not normal - a 7spd DSG should be smooth and fast shifting once its rolling. Let us know what the dealer finds.
Hey guys, took the R outbfor another wrap last night, and had been cruising in a high gear like 5th or 6th for about 5 minutes straight at maybe 50-60km/h.. So very slow.
As I go over a speed bump, I go to (half-travel of the pedal) floor it, and it just revved out like it was in neutral. Once it nearly hit redline and I backed off, it then finally engaged.
Needless to say I didn't go straight home after that, so i went for a short strap but all seemed fine onwards from that. Tried LC twice and no problem. Shifted through a few gears and took a few corners just to "test" it and it seemed absolutely fine, now.
A little clunk etc is to be expected.. But a proper miss of gear? Is that normal ? It's only happened once I'm the 870kms.
Feedback welcome.

get it looked at... a little clunk when changing gears? no... should be smooth. mine used to be great when in "manual" mode and would change all the time really smooth but in auto it would clunk between gears when under about 50% throttle, hard throttle and it would be better.
missed gears is a concern... mine started to do it in first on hills. would rev but not engage the gear.
have had mine replaced since and its magnificent, super smooth changes that you struggle to detect even under moderate acceleration etc.

Mine can be a little weird when its cold, but then sorts itself out after gaining some heat. Sometimes when enetering a really slow corner and then planting it the dsg will change down into first and scream like a bitch, which is really embarrasing.

My car after all the modifications is mental and I noticed a little bit of slipping. So I upgraded to the 500HP SSP clutch pack and never looked back

I find that when you are rolling, the gears can be a little bit slow to engage when you push the accelerator. Thought it was just how it is like the slight delay on takeoff.

Mine did a similar thing the other night but mine was from cold, went around a left hand corner and as i went to accelerate tacho just flew around towards redline as if it had gone into neutral, as you did, i quickly backed off and it went into gear. Thankfully hasn't happened again since.
