    My MKVI GTI was delivered minus bottle opener. The Sales guy went and grabbed one from the service dept forme. He told me not to lose it as it costs $60 to replace.

    My MKv GTI had one in it already when I picked it up. It was in its recess on the floor of the cup holder compartment. Took it out and slid it in the slide ecess, never had a spillage problem yet.

    I've got one but dont use it. I find its easier if I just put the drink in, then use the sliding door to squeeze it in place. Works just as good as the bottle opener.

    I got it with my 118TSI along with the spare key. Dealer had tagged it with the key set! It is really a good thing to have, but as everyone commented, you cant really put any drinks with our lid/cover. I had a bad spill once I got a Mcdonalds take away...
