Do you have a Mk6 GTD/GTI with rear mudflaps that fit?

I have a Mk6 GTD. The part number of the rear mudflap on my car is 5K0 075 105. Both my local VW dealer and the dealer I bought the car from from, say this is the correct part number. However, the mudflap does not sit neatly up against the underside of the vehicle (see pic below). Is there anyone out there with a Mk6 GTD/GTI where the mudflaps sit neatly against the underside of their car. If so, could you tell me the part number please. I would like to convince the dealer where I bought the car, that the ones on the car are not the right ones. I have seen photos of Mk6 GTIs where the mudflaps sit neatly on the car.

Yep, they did. Hence, why I'm annoyed and trying to find the right part number.

Those arent the right ones (as you have already realised). The ones ive seen on GTI's arent as long (dont hang down as far towards the road) and are a different shape. I'll see if i can find the right ones for you.

Yeah. That's what they showed me on the computer too. But, as you can see, they don't fit. Weird, I know. I thought someone out there might have a fitting set on ther car and could tell me the part number. It's on the wheel side of the mudflap. Here's hoping.

Did they screw it into the bumper properly? I had to drill the screw into the bumper in a few places, but my Mk6 isn't a GTI/GTD.

Don't have any better photos sorry

Had a similar problem with Passat ones They said the prev model still fitted mine WRONG

So after getting home and trying them had to wait for correct ones to come from overseas and drive an hour each way (again) to pick them up they fitted a bit like the Op's Turned out it was because they had been squashed in transit and a bit of sunlight and gentle persuasion got them into place. Also as you did had to drill a hole in the inner liner to pull them up to the correct position. Have been perfect ever since.

Ok, crawled around the floor with a torch to check part numbers for you!

I have a MY10 Mk6 GTI with mudflaps ordered and fitted by the dealer when purchasing the car.

    Front: 5K0 075 111
    Rear: 5K0 075 105

In the original photo, it appears to me that the plastic fixing with the screw in it (that sits behind the mudflap) is at an odd angle.

That bit and the screw fixing on mine are 90degrees to the mudflap so it is a tight fit against the bumper!

Thanks guys for taking the time to try find an answer to my problem. It appears I have the right mudflaps but don't seem to be fitted correctly. One explanation, I guess.
I can pull the flap up hard against the body but it then buckles the side piece and comes away from the body. I would have thought the flap would be a neat fit without forcing.
    The saga continues.
