Wet DSG is an older/more reliable system that is rated to handle more power/torque.
Wet DSG requires an expensive oil change every 60,000km ($1200+)
Dry DSG is newer tech which some early adopters found had some issues
Is rated to only handle 240nm of torque but many have exceeded this (APR, etc) without issue
Doesn't need the expensive oil change since it's "dry"
