Or it'sjust built into the cost of a lease, so it's not actually noticed.

The GTI is the best seller because it is probably the best overall car under $100,000 when value for money is taken into account. Sorry Golf R drivers! The Focus is rubbish quality and feel (let alone having to deal with a Ford). The MPS is even worse, horrendous looks (last one was very nice), waaaaaaaayyyyyy too much power through the front wheels (yes I have driven both), rubbish cabin. Trying to drive it gently around town is simply impossible. I bet there are a few people who fell in love with the power on the test drive and then fell out of love within a week of taking delivery. I just cannot fault the GTI, loved my Mk 5 and smile every time I look at my new Mk 6 in the driveway.
Yep, I'd agree. The GTI is more than enough for most :)
It's sad to see the difference in the large car segment - Commodore & Falcooon being so different in terms of numbers sold per month.
Its clear to see that Ford is seriously struggling and no wonder they are looking to kill off the Falcon for local production, they have diminishing support.
Holden Commodore - 3,778 - 45,956
Ford Falcon - 1,939 - 29,516
But so is the holden...
And that's homing from a huge GM fan :)
I am puzzled at the difference in numbers between those two as well. I've been in both current models, and I really don't think the difference in sales is in scale with the difference in quality/features/value. Oh well :/
Does anyone have access to VW sales figures in Australia ???By that I mean by carline,eg Golf,Polo,Jetta,Passat, etc.
Since November,I have been unable to access them.
If anyone could post them up,I would be very greatful...
