Same goes to whether the customer thinks they're getting a good deal or not. I've heard people warn others that they shouldn't go to a particular dealer and especially not "salesman John" because they're not willing to negotiate, and yet another forum member has managed to get a 16% discount from the salesman John.
So as I said. The survey they're doing is a great start. Let them concentrate on the people who actually did buy and their experience. If the service of particular dealers even with great sales is bad (such as the dealer that Maverick has mentioned), they'll get weeded out eventually

Interestingly, once when buying a car I received a price from one dealer. I specifically asked if there was room to negotiate from that as I was getting prices from elsewhere and was told flat out 'no, can't go lower'. I bought elsewhere (at a cheaper price) and when the salesperson called back to find out if I was still interested, then complained that I hadn't gone back to them to negotiate a better price.
