    Dash Cubby Hole

Does anyone use that little cubby hole in the dash just below the light switch?

If so, what for? It's such an odd shape.

    Coins?

I've used it for a few odds and ends, membership cards for instance.

Thank, though, as it's reminded me that it's there and will need emptying soon

In my MKV, I lined it with velvet (bought some black stuff from Spotlight, used a spay on the smooth side to stick the velvet to the plastic) so it matched the glovebox finish. I then used it to store my keys during transit. I hate them dangling around off the car key whilst driving

Use it to store my sunnies actually, the one located near the overhead lights are damned near useless for anything bar the smallest pair of reading glasses or similar.

I'd been wondering where to put mine, currently in centre bin under the armrest (to be taken up by MDI in MkVI). Might try that.

And Maverick, my sunglasses don't fit in the roof space (Oakley but not the huge ones).
