Don't stress Kaanage, we have what we were looking for here.
I get the sense that as a day to day proposition, which is what this will be, it is an overall nicer place to be than a MkV with a more solid and grounded feel and ride with better NVH suppression and a much improved interior, which is something I obviously could assess.
I too had a subie in the form of a Liberty 3.0R spec B, and this was actually where it came from, because as great as the AWD traction was, the car was as boring as a silent fart to get around in. I bought it new and got rid of it 1.5 years later.
So AWD is not the be all and end all of a car for me. However, that's not to say they can't be fun, my other thing is an old Nissan GTR and although not a traditional AWD, it still provides that sort of ridiculous traction albeit with a little more tail wagging attitude.
Been reading some more reviews also, thinking I should stick with the order now. Thanks again.
